Individual Education Plans: A Guide for Parents

BCCPAC is pleased to attach a copy of our latest publication, “Individual Education Plans: A Guide for Parents”.  This handbook is a collaborative project of BCCPAC and authors, Catherine Abraham and Joyce Gram.

The handbook was written in response to parent requests for information that would help guide them through IEP meetings.  It is a plain language document, and contains many ideas and tips for parents in working collaboratively with their schools.

At this time, there are no hard copies available, but you can forward the document to anyone and everyone, and it may be freely reprinted with acknowledgment to BCCPAC and the writers.  It is posted on our website at www.bccpac.bc.ca and you are welcome and encouraged to provide a link on your website.

We welcome (info@bccpac.bc.ca) any questions, comments or other feedback you may have to offer.  Thank you for your cooperation and assistance in sharing this resource with parents.
